Why Jacqui’s

Colorists who know color .

Color is chemistry and it’s art, and doing it well takes both. Our colorists hand-mix every formula rather than pulling a shade off a chart, and they read your hair’s history before they touch it — what’s been on it, how it lifts, where it pulls warm. That’s how you get color that suits your skin tone, grows out gracefully, and doesn’t leave your ends compromised.

Our team trains on professional Wella and Redken systems and travels for continuing education from Boston to New York, Chicago and beyond. We are a Platinum Wella Salon.  It’s why clients across Arlington and Greater Boston trust us with their color, and why so many have sat in the same chair for years.

Frequently asked questions

How much does hair color cost in Arlington?

Single-process color starts around $85, partial highlights from $75, and balayage from $115. Final pricing depends on your hair’s length and density and the result you want, which we confirm during a free consultation.

Most single-process color takes about 90 minutes. Highlights, balayage, and corrections run two to four hours, because hand-painting and careful processing can’t be rushed.

Single-process and gray coverage are usually refreshed every four to six weeks. Balayage and lived-in highlights stretch to eight to twelve weeks thanks to their soft grow-out, so you visit less often.
