Welcome to Jacqui’s Design Group, where beauty meets expertise and every client is treated like family.
We opened our doors on Broadway in 1991, and more than three decades later we’re still here — same neighborhood, many of the same faces, and a team that has quite literally grown up together. What we’ve built in that time is a salon experience rooted in warmth, relaxation, and real artistry.
Our stylists work collaboratively, sharing techniques and traveling for continuing education so they stay ahead of the trends. That means the person in your chair has an entire team behind them. Whether you’re here for a transformative haircut, vibrant color, or specialized beauty services like lash extensions and bridal styling, our goal is simple: we want you to love your hair, love your stylist, and love your experience — every single visit.
Our Philosophy
“As the owner and a working stylist at Jacqui’s Design Group, I want you to enter my salon feeling welcome and relaxed. My staff has spent years together, working and perfecting our craft. We strive to create an honest and patient atmosphere when evaluating your hair care needs.
We’re always up to date with the latest trends, and we love working with young stylists to keep things fresh and exciting. Our work speaks for itself. At Jacqui’s, we want you to love your hair, love your stylist, and love your experience.”
— Jacqui, Owner & Stylist
Most of our stylists have been with us for two decades or more, and several have spent their entire careers here. That kind of continuity is rare in this industry, and it’s the reason so many of our clients have sat in the same chair for years — and now bring their kids in too. Every stylist has their own specialty, from razor cuts and lived-in balayage to curly cutting and bridal work. Meet the team and find the right fit for you.
Nobody here coasts. Our stylists regularly travel for continuing education — cutting and color classes in Boston, New York, Chicago, Miami, and California. We also run an in-house apprenticeship program, developed by one of our own stylists, so the next generation learns the craft properly before they ever pick up shears on the floor.
It’s the reason a thirty-five-year-old salon doesn’t feel like one. The experience is deep, but the work stays current.
In Our Cabinet
Thirty-five years in, we’ve tried most of what’s out there and kept only what earns its place. Color runs on Wella, with Pulp Riot for fashion shades when someone wants pink, blue or green. Smoothing is GK Hair. Extensions are Platinum Seamless. Styling and finishing come from EIMI, Sebastian and Electric, and Invigo handles shampoo and conditioner at the bowl.
You’ll find most of it on the retail shelf too, because what we send you home with is what we actually reach for in the chair — we’re not selling you something we don’t use. Ask your stylist what she put on you and she’ll hand you the bottle. And if your roots start showing before your next appointment, Style Edit closes the gap in about thirty seconds.

Our mini boutique carries affordable costume jewelry — some of our clients pick up a new pair of earrings every single visit. You’ll also find headbands, scarves, hats, sunglasses, and everything you need for your nails. Come shop for yourself, or find a gift for a friend while your color processes.
